Jodie Baehre is an urban landscape painter living and working in Dorchester.
She draws her inspiration from the works of Edward Hopper (1882-1967). 

Baehre was awarded The 2022 People’s Choice Award for the National art competition, Emptiness for her painting Last Call. In 2022 and again in 2023, Baehre was funded by The City of Boston for There Once Was Parking 1 & 2, exhibitions and month-long activities that focused on bringing together a diverse community to share their art, music, and food. Baehre is a member of the Fort Point Arts Community, The National Guild for Community Arts Education, The Edward Hopper House, in Nyack, NY, The American Iris Society, and the Western New York Iris Society. She is a website volunteer for Michael E. Haynes Legacy, TheAfrica Hope Development Initiative, and the Western New York Iris Society. She has also worked for over 10years at Project STEP in fundraising.
